Written confirmation of telephone or web orders must be clearly marked “Confirmation”, otherwise we can accept no responsibility for duplication of the order. In the event of such duplication, goods will be accepted back for credit providing that the product is unmarked and packaging unopened, a 15% handling charge will be made.
Orders for stock items can usually be cancelled without charge if the goods have not been despatched. If despatch has been made, carriage and handling charges will be incurred. Cancellation of orders for non-stock items (which will be identified at the point of order in the price line) will normally incur charges. Non-stock items cannot usually be returned for credit, unless the original manufacturer will accept their return.
Canford Audio supplies quality products direct to professional users and trade clients. Canford Audio does not provide a retail service to private individuals.
Subject to product availability, all orders placed before approximately 5.30 pm (16.30 CET for international orders) are despatched same day. This is confirmed by the website when placing the order.

If you need to return any items to Canford for any reason, please first contact the Customer Services department for further instructions. A returns number will be issued, which must be shown clearly on the outer packaging. Take great care to ensure that the products are packed adequately for their return journey and are insured, you will be responsible for any damage in transit. Address labels must not be put directly on product packaging, an outer wrapping or larger box must always be used. Credit will not be given if the items have been used. Items supplied correctly in accordance with your order will be subject to carriage and handling charges.
Credit accounts are available to established businesses and local authorities subject to minimal formalities effective with the first order, and usually arranged the same day. Occasionally payment is requested against a pro-forma invoice.
Shipments made in instalments will be invoiced accordingly, and must be paid when due. All invoices must be paid by the 14th of the month following month of invoice. We reserve the right to withhold supplies to clients with overdue accounts.

Credit cards and payment cards
Canford accepts Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Delta, and American Express, which allows same day despatch for clients without credit accounts.
All prices shown are exclusive of VAT, which will be added at the rate ruling at date of despatch. We reserve the right to alter prices if necessary, due to external factors, though in these circumstances, the new price will be notified at the receipt or order. Goods will be invoiced at the price ruling at date of despatch. If ordering using rapid order facilities, no liability can be accepted for use of an outdated printed brochure.
Sales tax (VAT)
For a Canford customer being invoiced to the following countries:
Standard VAT rate, typically 20% will be applied to the order. No VAT registration number is required to place an order.
Other EEC Countries
Pay no VAT provided that a valid tax registration number is provided during the ordering process. The VAT registration number is prompted for in the checkout process. In this case, the buyer will then become liable for VAT on receipt of the goods.
If no VAT number is provided, standard UK VAT will be applied to the order (typically 20%).
Rest of the world
Pay no VAT on orders. Import duties and fees may be payable by the importer of the goods.
