The 4201 Series Digital Audio Video Recording System is based on these proven recorders. By integrating DVD+ recorders with the backup, verification and convenience of the analogue audio recorder, and the authentification of our unique built-in timecode unit, the following prime design aims have been achieved:

Dual simultaneous DVD+ integrated with NEAL cascade dual audio cassette evidence recorder.

Liquid crystal display for recorder mode and diagnostics.

Audio input circuits specifically designed to give the highest quality stereo recording on both audio and DVD recorders.

Recorder front panel features audio level indicators, headphone socket with volume control and elapsed time displays of both DVD and audio recorders.

Time date generator providing burnt-in picture time and timecode on video recorders and corresponding timecode on audio recorder (optional).

Picture-in-picture unit giving any of four positions for inset picture.
Power supplies for cameras.

Safety check circuits of operator or recorder errors.

Outputs are provided for up to two colour monitors.

Ease of Use

Remote control pan and tilt zoom camera.
CCD colour camera, high definition (>420 lines), available with motorised zoom lens combination, auto iris, wide angle adapter, auto focus and low light sensitivity. Supplied on a pan and tilt head with integral wall mount.

	Fixed wide angle camera. CCD colour camera, high definition (>420 lines), wide angle lens, including adjustable wall bracket.
	Camera Controller Pan, tilt, zoom and focus desk controller with joystick.
	Microphones Two PZM boundary layer microphones each unobtrusively sited on a horizontal or vertical surface.

Additional Equipment Induction loop talkback system to speak to interviewer through an earpiece from the monitor room or to assist in cases of hearing difficulty.
	Remote system function indicator to indicate correct functioning of recording system to the interviewer. Audio Cassette Transcriber to assist in the preparation of the written case summary. Complete with footswitchand headphones.
