7123 HIGH SPEED CASSETTE DIGITISER

The NEAL 7123 is designed for use with a NEAL 9001 Network Adaptor (see separate data sheet). Together they provide a simple to use method of quickly digitising interview cassettes allowing network transcription and management.

It provides digitisation of interview cassettes where interview rooms are not already connected to a network.

It also allows the digitisation of cold case interviews and cassettes from portable, witness and emergency call recordings. The simple to use digitiser is used with a network interview recorder and an optional input metadata terminal.

Control Functions.
“Rewind”, “Copy” and “Stop” buttons provide very easy control of the device.
The mains ON / OFF power switch is located on the rear panel.
Pressing “Stop” and removing the cassette signifies the end of this recording session and transfers all recordings to the NEAL
server together with any metadata available. Playback level is automatically controlled.

Audio Alarm: An alarm sounds if any problem is detected that would prevent successful interview digitizing.
Copy speed is 14.28 cm / sec. Digital copy of 30 minute interview is therefore produced in 10 mins
